Kui Canyon 2020. aastal Grand Canyon:ON-i turule tõi, oli see brändi esimene elektriline kõva sabaga maastikujalgratas, mis võttis aluseks populaarse Canyon Grand Canyon alumiiniumist kõva sabaga platvormi ja lisas Shimano STEPS mootori, et luua taskukohane otse tarbijale suunatud sissepääs elektrilisse maastikusõitu. 2025. aasta märtsis kujundas Canyon jalgratta täielikult ümber uue Bosch Performance Line CX Gen5 mootori ja modulaarse akusüsteemi ümber, mis ulatub kuni 1050 Wh-ni, positsioneerides selle kui kõikehõlmava seiklusliku kõva sabaga jalgratta avastajatele, mitte pelgalt soodsa valikuna.
