2017. Powerfly nimi on olemas juba enne 2017. aastat, kuid 2017. mudeliaasta oli pöördepunkt — tutvustati Powerfly FS-i (täisvedrustus, 130 mm) ja Powerfly LT-d (pikk käik, 150 mm) koos HT-ga. See kehtestas Powerfly kui Trek'i e-MTB perekonna, millel on mitu alamkategooriat.

Kas teadsid

01Powerfly LT (Long Travel) oli Trek'i agressiivne e-MTB enne Rail'i olemasolu. Kui Trek 2019. aastal Rail'i kui 'elektrifitseeritud Slash'i' turule tõi, lõpetati Powerfly LT tootmine — selle DNA elab edasi Rail'i sarjas.
02'Equipped' variandid on tehases varustatud pendel- ja matkasõiduks — pakiraamikinnitused, poritiivad, tuled — muutes Powerfly+ üheks vähestest e-MTB-dest, mis võib tõeliselt toimida ka pendeldajana.
032017. aasta oli pöördepunkt: Trek andis ühe aasta jooksul välja kolm erinevat Powerfly alamperekonda (HT, FS, LT) ning naistele mõeldud mudeleid — see andis märku suurest investeeringust e-MTB kategooriasse.
04Powerfly+ 4 Gen 5 hinnaga 3 299 € on Trek'i kõige soodsam Bosch CX-toitega mägiratas, tuues Performance Line CX jõudluse hinnapunkti, mis varem oli reserveeritud Performance Line (mitte-CX) mootoritele.
05Gen 5 Bosch CX mootorit kirjeldatakse väiksema, kergema ja vaiksemana kui eelmisi CX põlvkondi, pöördemomendiga kuni 100 Nm — märkimisväärne uuendus võrreldes varasemate põlvkondade 85 Nm-ga.

Powerfly+ 4 at €3,299 is Trek's cheapest Bosch CX e-MTB — but entry fork (SR Suntour) and brakes (Tektro) are budget-grade. Consider the Powerfly+ 6 (€3,999) for meaningful drivetrain and component upgrade.

600Wh vs 800Wh: 800Wh models cost ~€200 more. For rides over 2 hours or hilly terrain, the 800Wh is worth it. For shorter commutes and flat trails, 600Wh saves weight and money.

Equipped variants (+€300) include rack mounts, mudguards, and lights — excellent if you'll use the bike for commuting alongside trail riding.

HT (Powerfly+) vs FS (Powerfly FS+): the FS costs ~€1,200 more for same spec level. If riding rocky/rooty trails regularly, FS is worth it. For gravel roads and smooth trails, HT is sufficient.

All models are aluminum only — no carbon option exists in the Powerfly line. If you want carbon e-MTB, look at Rail+ 9.7 (€5,999) or Fuel EXe.

For Baltic riders: Same EU pedelec regulations as Rail+. No registration needed. Lithuania helmet law applies since 2026.

Used Powerfly Gen 3 (2018-2020) bikes are good value but use older Bosch non-Smart System — no app, no Bluetooth, no OTA updates. Gen 4+ recommended for Smart System features.
