Powerfly hardtail-sari — mida järelturul mõnikord nimetatakse Powerfly Sportiks — on Trek'i algtaseme täisvõimsusega e-maastikujalgratas. See ühendab Alpha Platinum alumiiniumraami 120 mm vedrustuskahvliga, 29-tolliste ratastega (suurusel S 27,5) ja Bosch Performance Line CX mootoriga, mille pöördemoment on 85 Nm. Powerfly+ 4 ja 4EQ on varustatud 600 Wh PowerTube akuga; Powerfly+ 6 ja lipulaev 8 tõstavad selle 800 Wh-ni. EQ versioonid lisavad porilauad, pagasiriiuli ja integreeritud tuled, nii et jalgratas sobib ka raskeveo pendelratta või matka- ja maastikusõidurattana. Euroopas müüakse seda platvormi hinnaga 3 299–4 999 € — see on kõige taskukohasem viis Bosch CX süsteemi juurde tipptasemel brändilt. 2025. aastaks läks sari üle uuele Bosch CX Gen 5 mootorile ja uuendatud geomeetriale.

- Smooth, quiet power delivery; Gen 5 CX motor noticeably finer and lower-noise than predecessor
- Powerful 203 mm Tektro hydraulic discs deliver dependable stopping for a heavy e-bike
- Removable Integrated Battery (RIB) allows tool-free battery swap and charging off the bike
- Gen 5 adds Range Extender support (up to 1050 Wh) and modern 66.5° trail geometry
- Heavy at ~24 kg — manhandling and pedaling unassisted is hard work
- Entry trims run a basic SR Suntour XCM coil fork and a 1×10 Deore drivetrain — budget components on a premium platform
- Hardtail rear can cause arm/shoulder fatigue on long or rough descents (no rear suspension)
- Gen 4 US 500 Wh battery is not upgradeable / no range extender, and real range (~56 km) is modest for the weight
- No dropper post on the cheapest trim, limiting confident technical descending
