Aeroad

The Aeroad is Canyon's aero road flagship and, alongside the Ultimate, one of the two bikes that put the Koblenz-based direct-to-consumer brand on the WorldTour map. The current platform traces to a 2014 launch that quickly proved itself in racing, taking the Tour of Flanders in 2015 under Alexander Kristoff. Disc-brake versions arrived in 2017 and a cheaper CF SL frame joined the premium CF SLX in 2019. In October 2020 Canyon fully redesigned the Aeroad, introducing the integrated, adjustable CP0018/CP0015 cockpit, cleaner internal routing, a lighter frame and a more relaxed, less-fatiguing riding position. Because Canyon sells factory-direct with no dealer margin, the Aeroad has long undercut its aero rivals on price for the same tier of components, making a WorldTour-grade bike unusually attainable.
