Dew Women's

Kona was founded in 1988 in the Pacific Northwest (Vancouver BC / Bellingham WA) and made its name in mountain biking before building a strong, no-nonsense line of urban and commuter bikes. The Dew arrived as Kona's entry-level 'townie' commuter, designed around one simple idea: a tough aluminium frame with disc brakes and reliable Shimano gearing at a price a daily rider could justify. It has run continuously since the early 2010s, quietly updated year on year - moving from 700c wheels and 2x8 Shimano Altus with rim/mechanical-disc brakes on the early bikes, toward 650b wheels, wide WTB Horizon tyres, 1x Shimano ESSA drivetrains and hydraulic discs on the modern versions. Kona positions the Dew family (Dew, Dew DL, Dew HD, Dr Dew and the electric Dew-E) as the practical backbone of its urban range, with the step-through Coco covering the dedicated 'easy-mount' role that shoppers often search for as a 'women's' commuter.
