E-Helix (oficiāli apzīmēts vienkārši kā 'Helix' no 2025. gada modeļa) ir Bergamont pirmais integrētais Bosch Performance Line SX sistēmas modelis — Bosch vieglais vidējais dzinējs, kas tika laists klajā 2023. gadā — un iezīmē paaudžu maiņu zīmola trekkinga platformā. Ne-elektriskais Helix ir bijis Bergamont ikdienas trekkinga darba zirgs kopš 2010. gadu sākuma, un jaunais motorizētais Helix izmanto to pašu 28 collu alumīnija trekkinga rāmi un ieauž 400 Wh akumulatoru apakšējā caurulē, vienlaikus saglabājot velosipēdu zem tipiskā e-trekkinga svara. Izlaišanas klāsts aptver divas galvenās apdares (Helix 10 Belt ar Gates CDX siksnas piedziņu, Helix 20 ar parasto pārslēdzēju), katra pieejama dimanta Gent rāmī vai zemā soļa 'Slope' rāmī, kas paredzēts sieviešu braucējām un vecākiem pārvietotājiem. Verdikts
- Natural, near-analogue ride feel — the lightweight Bosch Performance Line SX (~2 kg, 55 Nm) and the 21.8 kg total weight make it behave much like a normal trekking bike, ideal as a first e-bike.
- Very low maintenance on the Helix 10 Belt: Gates CDC carbon belt + Shimano Nexus 8-speed internal hub means no chain oil, no exposed cassette, quiet running.
- Fully kitted for everyday commuting/touring out of the box — integrated lights, rear rack with pannier holder, full mudguards, suspension fork and puncture-protected Schwalbe tyres.
- Inclusive sizing and frame choice: diamond and low-step 'Slope' frames share geometry, so couples or shorter/older riders can get a matched fit.
- Removable, frame-integrated Bosch CompactTube battery and a clean cockpit with the simple Purion 200 display.
- Small 400 Wh battery limits range — fine for daily commuting but short for long tours, and there is no big-battery option (range extender is an extra cost).
- 55 Nm SX motor is deliberately modest; on steep, loaded climbs it gives noticeably less punch than a Performance Line CX e-trekking bike.
- Heavy for its 'lightweight' positioning at 21.8 kg — awkward to lift up stairs or onto a rack despite the light motor.
- Component spec is mid-range value, not premium (Suntour fork, Shimano MT200 brakes, CUES/Nexus) — adequate but unexciting for the ~3,300-3,500 EUR/GBP price.
- Bergamont's confusing naming (sold simply as 'Helix' but is the e-version; multiple trims 10 Belt / 20 / Slope) makes it easy to order the wrong variant.
