The Mahuna fills Kona's entry-level 29er hardtail slot, offering a capable trail platform at an accessible price point. With the same 6061 aluminum frame design philosophy as the Kahuna but a step-down spec list, the Mahuna is aimed at riders entering mountain biking or seeking an affordable but reliable trail bike. It retains the dropper post readiness and bottle cage mounts that make it practical for longer adventures.
