Izcelsme

The Premio line began as Pegasus's answer to the growing demand for premium e-trekking bikes in Germany around 2012. Each EVO generation introduced meaningful upgrades — the switch to Bosch Performance Line CX, the move to an integrated PowerTube battery, and eventually the ABS option. By the EVO 10 Lite era, the Premio had become the definitive Pegasus flagship: a loaded touring e-bike competitive with Cube, Kalkhoff, and Kettler at a more accessible ZEG-dealer price.

Verdikts

+Stiprās puses
  • Bosch Performance Line CX (85 Nm) provides confident power for loaded touring and steep climbs
  • Schwalbe Marathon E-Plus tyres and hydraulic discs make this genuinely all-weather capable
  • Belt-drive variant eliminates chain maintenance — outstanding for commuters and tourers who want zero fuss
Vājās puses
  • ~29.6 kg weight is substantial — manoeuvring in tight spaces or lifting up stairs requires effort
  • Premium spec comes at a premium price; alternatives like Cube Kathmandu or Kalkhoff Endeavour offer similar specs competitively
  • Large 50-622 tyres, while excellent for comfort, cannot be swapped for narrower road-oriented rubber without wider tyre clearance checks
