Izcelsme
The Gisburn is named after Gisburn Forest in Lancashire — a legendary UK mountain bike trail centre — reflecting Whyte's roots in demanding, muddy British riding. As a gravel bike it leans toward off-road adventure rather than road speed: big tire clearance, a dropper post, aggressive flared bars and the weight-saving of an alloy frame with a carbon fork. SRAM Rival XPLR eTAP AXS wireless shifting lands on the Gisburn as a premium gravel-specific drivetrain choice.

Verdikts
+Stiprās puses
- Dropper post and 700x50mm tire clearance make it genuinely adventure-capable
- SRAM Rival XPLR eTAP AXS wireless drivetrain is smooth and gravel-optimised
- Carbon fork meaningfully reduces weight and vibration vs an all-alloy build
−Vājās puses
- 70° head angle and 425mm chainstay are conservative — not as dynamic as more trail-aggressive gravel bikes
- Alloy frame is heavier than carbon-framed gravel competitors at similar price
- Easton AR-25 rims are functional but narrower than the 30mm+ rims on gravel rivals
