Происхождение
E-Twow is the brainchild of Romanian engineer Dr. Ing. Sorin Sirbu, who built what is widely credited as one of the first modern folding electric scooters back in 2013 - and, at ~9.8 kg, the lightest of its era. The company pioneered the front-wheel brushless hub motor and was among the first to fit an electromagnetic brake with KERS (Kinetic Energy Recovery System) regeneration. E-Twow manufactures in China with a European administrative and logistics centre in Romania, and for years the same scooters were re-badged and sold in the US market under the Uscooters name. The GT line, launched around 2019 and refreshed as the GT SE in 2020, is E-Twow's flagship long-range ultraportable - the model that made 'a real commuter scooter you can carry up the stairs with one hand' the brand's signature.
