Происхождение
Rion Motors was founded by Chris Rion, who started the company in Los Angeles in the early 2010s (operations began around 2012-2013) out of a small California workshop. Rion saw an unfilled niche: a compact electric vehicle built with no-compromise, motorsport-grade engineering rather than mass-market cost targets. The company transitioned from European-sourced components to fully US-made hyperscooters, becoming the only stateside builder of its kind. The RE90 is its flagship - a hand-built machine where the chassis, stem and handlebar are moulded entirely from carbon fiber, paired with race-derived Magura brakes and PMT slick tires. Each unit is effectively bespoke, custom-made for the client over roughly a 90-day build, which is why Rion is often described as the 'Bugatti of electric scooters.'
