Izcelsme
Powerfly FS ir Trek apjomīgais pilnās piekares e-MTB kopš 2018. gada un ir takām piemērots, visu darošs brālis agresīvākajam Rail. Uzbūvēts uz alumīnija rāmja ar 120 mm aizmugures un 130 mm priekšējo gājienu (jaunākā Gen 4), tas apvieno ABP aizmugures piekares ģeometriju, kas aizgūta no analogā Fuel EX, ar Bosch Performance Line CX motoru — 85 Nm griezes moments Gen 4 versijā un līdz 100 Nm ar izvēles Race programmatūru. Noņemamā integrētā akumulatora (RIB) sistēma ļauj braucējiem izņemt 600 vai 800 Wh PowerTube bez instrumentiem. 2025. gadā Trek laida klajā Powerfly+ FS Gen 4 uz jaunās Bosch CX Gen 5 platformas, signalizējot, ka platforma turpinās attīstīties. FS atrodas zem Rail cenas un gājiena ziņā, padarot to par praktisku izvēli braucējiem, kuri vēlas vienu velosipēdu takām, grants dubultceļiem un bikepackingam.

- Trek's mature platform — long production run, wide dealer/service network and parts availability
- Versatile do-it-all geometry: equally at home on trail, gravel double-track and bikepacking
- Heavy — ~24.6 kg in Gen 4 trim, noticeably more than carbon competitors and harder to handle when battery dies
- Aluminium-only frame; no carbon option, unlike the pricier Rail
- Base trims use budget components (SR Suntour fork, Tektro brakes, Shimano CUES) that ambitious riders may want to upgrade
- Less travel and a steeper head angle than the Rail — not the pick for aggressive enduro descending
- Motor noise and the smartphone/Purion display are common complaints in reviews; high price for an alloy build
