Origin
Author's junior range is built around the same principles as their adult line — proper geometry per wheel size, hydraulic disc brakes, and Shimano components. The short-crank spec (150–152 mm) is key: standard adult cranks force children into a wide-legged pedal stance that is both inefficient and harmful to developing joints. At sub-11 kg, the junior bikes are manageable for children who might need to lift them.
