Origin
The Ronin is Author's dedicated gravel bike — a return to steel, justified by cromoly's natural compliance and durability on rough surfaces. The triple-butted frame keeps weight acceptable while retaining the material's dampening properties. Shimano GRX — a dedicated gravel groupset — handles the transmission, and PANARACER Gravel King SK tyres were purpose-designed for this type of riding. The cromoly fork keeps flex consistent throughout.
