Origin
The Gavia is Bottecchia's entry-level aluminium hardtail, named for another legendary Italian climb. Its hydroformed 6061 double-butted 29" frame comes in around 1850 g raw for a size M, paired with a 100 mm suspension fork and a relatively open, stable geometry that gives newer riders confidence on descents. With Shimano hydraulic disc brakes and dependable components, it's positioned as a robust, no-fuss first real mountain bike rather than a race weapon.
