Origin

The SuperSix EVO SE shares its frame with the SuperSix EVO CX, the cyclocross race bike developed for and ridden by EF Pro Cycling in UCI Cyclocross World Cup events. Cannondale took that proven CX platform — aero tube shapes, 45mm clearance and OutFront power-steering geometry — and re-specced it with wider tires and gravel groupsets to create a dedicated race-gravel machine. It launched alongside the EVO CX as the gravel-focused sibling, sitting above the adventure-oriented Topstone in Cannondale's drop-bar dirt range.

  • Not built for bikepacking/adventure — lacks mudguard mounts and extra bottle/cargo provisions
  • PF30-83 Ai press-fit BB is non-standard and prone to creak vs threaded BSA (Synapse/Topstone Gen 3)
  • Ai 6mm rear offset limits rear-wheel upgrade/replacement options
  • Speed Release thru-axles and integrated finishing kit reduce component customization
