Origin

Canyon launched the Precede:ON in September 2020 as its flagship urban e-bike, positioned as a genuine car replacement for city living. The carbon CF version pioneered a fully integrated cockpit — brake levers (developed with TRP), lights and display built into a single handlebar with no visible cables — and borrowed Bosch's mountain-bike-grade Performance Line CX motor for the city. It reached the US market in February 2023.
