D1
Origin
Eleglide is a Chinese electric-mobility brand that rose to prominence around 2021-2022 selling aggressively priced e-bikes and e-scooters through European marketplaces (Geekbuying, Geekmaxi, Banggood and Amazon EU), with warehousing inside the EU to keep shipping fast and import-duty surprises to a minimum. The D1 arrived in 2022 as the brand's push into the off-road/commuter scooter space, sitting alongside its Coozy/Citycrosser e-bike line. Rather than chasing the premium end, Eleglide aimed the D1 at riders who wanted 10-inch pneumatic tyres, dual suspension and real disc brakes at a price point closer to disposable no-name scooters. The dual-motor D1 Master was launched at essentially the same time as the halo version of the platform, giving the line a clear good/better ladder from a single 500W city machine to a 1000W 55 km/h off-roader.

- Weight
- kg
- Brakes
- Front and rear mechanical (cable) disc brakes plus electronic motor braking; ~8 m stopping distance
The verdict
- Comfortable, planted ride from fat 10x2.5" pneumatic tyres plus dual suspension
- Strong braking hardware for the class: front and rear disc brakes plus motor braking
- Excellent value - a lot of scooter (tyres, suspension, disc brakes, decent battery) for the money
- Real-world range (~35-45 km) is far below the optimistic 70/80 km eco-mode claim
- Heavy at ~27.5 kg and only IPX4 - awkward to carry and not for wet weather
- Budget build and cable (mechanical) disc brakes mean more maintenance and less refinement than premium rivals
Generations
D1 (single motor)
- City-first commuter; lighter on power, cheaper, ~35-45 km real range.
D1 Master (dual motor)
- Same chassis and tyres, doubled motor + bigger battery + fuller suspension for genuine off-road/hill duty.
