Origin
Launched around 2018, the Intero positions Hercules as an alternative for riders who prefer the smoother, quieter character of Panasonic motors over Bosch's performance-focused feel. The I-F360 flagship with its Panasonic GX Ultimate Pro (95 Nm) and belt drive represents the pinnacle of near-silent urban trekking: high torque without noise, zero chain maintenance. New Panasonic GX motors were introduced across the range for 2021.

The verdict
+Strengths
- Panasonic GX motors are notably quieter than Bosch CX at equivalent torque — appreciated in urban settings
- Belt drive on I-F360 eliminates chain oiling, cleaning, and replacement for years of low-maintenance riding
- 630 Wh battery provides realistic 80–100 km range for most commuting use cases
−Weaknesses
- Panasonic ecosystem (app, navigation) is less developed than Bosch Smart System
- ZEG-exclusive availability limits purchase options and resale market
- At 26 kg, not a lightweight — same mass penalty as the rest of the Hercules e-range
