Y10
Origin
Joyor is the electric-scooter brand of Jinhua Joyor (Zhejiang, China), a manufacturer established in the mid-2010s that grew out of roughly seven years of bicycle-making experience before pivoting to short-distance green mobility. The company built a broad ladder of models — F, G, C, S, Y and later T series — and pushed hard into Europe, opening its own warehouses in Poland, Germany, Italy and Spain and selling across 40+ countries. The Y-series is Joyor's comfort-and-range commuter line, and the Y10 sits at the top of it: where the smaller Y5S shares the same 500W motor, the Y10 pairs it with a much larger 26Ah battery and full dual suspension, aiming squarely at riders who spend real hours on the scooter — long daily commutes, rental fleets and last-mile delivery. To meet European law it ships throttled to 25 km/h, and Joyor later produced a homologated 'Y10 DGT' variant certified for the Spanish market.

The verdict
- Large 48V 26Ah battery gives genuinely long range for its price class — comfortable full-day commuting without range anxiety.
- Full double suspension plus 10-inch pneumatic tyres make it one of the smoother, more comfortable rides in the budget commuter segment.
- Practical safety kit for the money: front + rear disc brakes and integrated front/rear turn signals.
- Top speed is legally capped at 25 km/h and the 500W motor is modest — slow on hills and underwhelming for anyone wanting spirited riding.
- Heavy for a commuter at ~26 kg, and the large battery means long charge times (~10 hours), so it is awkward to carry up stairs and slow to top up.
- Only IP54 rated — fine for splashes but not built for the wet Baltic autumn/winter; long charge time and heft limit convenience.
