Wolf Warrior 11
Origin
Kaabo is a Chinese e-scooter maker (Ningbo Kaabo Technology) that rose to fame in 2018 with the Wolf Warrior 11 — a machine that essentially created the modern heavy-duty 'all-terrain wolf' category. The Wolf Warrior 11 fused a tubular exoskeleton chassis and a genuine downhill-mountain-bike-style hydraulic front fork with a drivetrain and electronics closely derived from Minimotors' Dualtron Thunder, which at launch made it feel like a Dualtron for noticeably less money. It celebrated its first anniversary in July 2019 and quickly became a benchmark that rivals were measured against. Over the years Kaabo kept the platform alive through a family of trims — the smaller-battery Plus, the Pro and Pro+, and finally the fully modernised 2025 Warrior 11 Max with sine-wave controllers, adjustable rear suspension and an NFC colour display — so the 'Wolf Warrior 11' name spans several distinct technical generations rather than one fixed spec.
Specifications
- Weight
- kg
- Brakes
- Front + rear hydraulic disc (Zoom) with electronic eABS anti-lock; Max uses 160mm rotors
The verdict
- Brutal dual-motor acceleration and ~80 km/h top speed — genuine motorcycle-like performance for the class
- Excellent suspension (real hydraulic downhill front fork + rear shocks) and 11-inch tires soak up rough terrain and off-road
- Strong, reliable Minimotors-derived drivetrain with hydraulic disc brakes + eABS; well-proven platform with few field failures
- Very heavy (~45-56 kg) and extremely long when folded (~150 cm) — not portable, won't fit most car trunks
- Long charge times (8-17 h stock) and only IPX4/IPX5 water resistance — no wet-weather confidence
- Fit-and-finish is only average on earlier trims (loose screws, square-wave controller dead-zone) — the 2025 Max fixes much of this
Generations
2018-2019 original 11
- The trailblazer — Dualtron-Thunder-derived drivetrain at a lower price; average fit/finish.
Plus / Pro era (~2020-2022)
- Battery-tier split: cheaper shorter-range Plus vs full-range Pro/Pro+. Same core platform.
2025 Warrior 11 Max
- Full modernisation: smoother sine-wave power, adjustable damping, better tires, NFC colour display.
