MarinAlpine Trail

Origin
The Alpine Trail is Marin's enduro weapon — a carbon-front full-suspension designed for riders who spend their Saturdays gaining elevation to earn every descent. Born from Marin's deep roots in Marin County's steep, rooty terrain, it packages 160mm of fork travel and MultiTrac rear suspension in a frameset light enough to pedal all day.

The verdict
+Strengths
- Carbon front triangle keeps weight competitive for an enduro bike
- MultiTrac suspension platform pedals efficiently while absorbing chunk on descents
- Size-specific dropper post travel is a thoughtful spec
−Weaknesses
- Alloy rear end limits ultimate weight savings compared to full-carbon competitors
- RockShox Yari (base fork) is an older damper design — upgrade path to Pike/Lyrik is common
- ISCG05 tabs and chainstay disc mount signal trail use, but the build kit is less descents-oriented than dedicated enduro bikes
