Origin
The LR01 was introduced around 2016 as the road counterpart to the LU01 in Peugeot's Legend collection. It revives the iconic silhouette of the Peugeot road bikes that dominated professional cycling in the 1970s and 1980s — complete with the lugged steel frame and chequerboard decor — but fits it with flat bars and modern Shimano gearing for accessible everyday riding.
