Origin

The Point is Pivot's chromoly dirt jump bike — a departure from the brand's carbon mountain bikes, built for a discipline where steel's durability and weight matter more than carbon's stiffness advantages. Using double-butted 4130 chromoly and TIG welding, the Point prioritises strength for hard landings and the repetitive stress of pump track riding. The adjustable chainstay length (385–400 mm) lets riders tune the bike for jump bikes (shorter, snappier) or pump track (longer, more stable).
