PivotTrail 429

Origin
The Trail 429 is Pivot's lightweight trail platform — a 29er built for riders who prioritise efficient climbing and agile descending over maximum downhill aggression. The name references its 429 mm chainstay length, a nod to precise geometry specification. At ~2.7 kg with shock, it's among the lightest full-suspension trail frames made, and its DW-link suspension translates that efficiency into climbs where heavier bikes bog down. Multiple bikepacking mounts make it a capable adventure trail bike.
