Origin
Pivot entered the gravel segment in 2018 with the Vault — a hollow-core carbon bike built to the same exacting standards as the brand's mountain bikes, but tuned for all-surface drop-bar riding. The latest generation introduced a significant redesign: longer, slacker, taller geometry, ISO FLEX seatpost isolation for long-haul comfort, and the BB386EVO bottom bracket for torsional rigidity. The result is a gravel bike that rewards fast all-day riding with a sub-kilogram frame.

- Premium carbon pricing versus the alloy gravel market
- BB386EVO requires specific BB tools — less universal than threaded BSA
