Origin
The Nucleus Youth is a deliberate decision to give younger riders the same geometry philosophy as the award-winning adult Nucleus — slack head angle, short chainstays, progressive feel — rather than a scaled-down generic kids bike. Hydraulic disc brakes with reach-adjust levers acknowledge that smaller hands need smaller lever throw to brake confidently.

−Weaknesses
- 12.7 kg is on the heavier side for a youth trail bike
- Wire-bead Maxxis tyres cannot run tubeless
- Limited size range (one frame size per wheel size)
