Origin
Yeti Cycles launched the SB130 in 2018 as the 29er trail bike in its Switch Infinity line-up, sitting as the shorter-travel sibling of the long-travel SB150 enduro bike. It quickly earned a reputation as a 'do-it-all' one-bike-quiver: 130 mm of rear travel paired with a 150 mm fork and progressive geometry let it climb like a trail bike and descend like an enduro rig. A longer-travel 'Lunch Ride' (LR/TLR) variant with 137 mm rear / 160 mm front followed for riders wanting more aggression.

The verdict
+Strengths
- One of the finest climbers of any travel class — Switch Infinity gives supple off-the-top traction with an efficient, centered, steep-seated pedaling position
- Genuine 'one-bike quiver' versatility: climbs like a trail bike, descends with near-enduro confidence
- Plush, fast rear suspension that keeps the bike from getting hung up — 'bumps don't slow it down'
- Premium full-carbon frame with modern geometry and clean tube-in-tube routing
- Lunch Ride / TLR variant adds 137/160 mm travel for riders who want more aggression from the same platform
−Weaknesses
- Rear-biased geometry demands an active, skilled rider — passive riders get understeer / a vague front end in tight corners
- Fox DPX2 stock shock can lack mid-stroke support and the rear squats under load
- Front-end steering precision and stiffness trail some competitors at this price
- Very expensive — premium Yeti pricing for the carbon frame and TURQ builds
- Some testers found little reason to pick it over the longer-travel SB150 given similar climbing efficiency
