Notifications — staying in the loop

Notifications keep you in the loop without spamming your inbox. They live at /panel/notifications and the bell icon in the header shows the unread count.

Where to find them

  • Bell icon in the top header — shows unread count, click to peek at the latest few.
  • Full inbox at /panel/notifications — every notification, with filters.

Types of notifications

  • Comments — someone replied to your forum post or community update.
  • @Mentions — someone tagged you with @username in a post or comment.
  • Listing interest — your listing got a new message, a save / favourite, or a price-related question.
  • Vendor sync — for vendor accounts: bulk-upload completed, sync errors, stock updates pushed.
  • System — moderation decisions, listing approved / held for review, account warnings, password changes, login from new device.

Marking as read

  1. Open /panel/notifications.
  2. Click any notification — it's marked read automatically and takes you to the related thread / listing.
  3. Or use Mark all as read at the top to clear the unread badge in one click.

Filtering

The page has tabs / filters by type so you can look only at mentions, only at listing interest, etc. Useful when you have a busy week and want to skim mentions first.

Email versions

Some critical notifications also reach you by email — moderation decisions, password changes, login from a new device. Day-to-day comments and likes stay in-app only, by default.

What we don't do

No push notifications via third-party services, no SMS spam, no marketing pings. The notifications inbox is the system of record — what's there is everything we have to tell you.
