Origin

Cube's Access WS is the German brand's long-running women-specific hardtail range, sitting at the entry-to-mid point of the lineup. The frame uses Aluminum Superlite tubing with a noticeably lower standover, shorter top tube and women-tuned contact points (saddle, narrower bar, shorter cranks on small sizes) — Cube's answer to the historical complaint that men's hardtails simply shrunk down didn't fit women well. The range is broad on purpose: the Access WS One starts around €599 with SR Suntour XCE coil fork and Shimano Tourney 2x7, the EAZ adds an easy-step frame for older riders, and the Race tops out around €1,899 with a 2x11 Shimano Deore drivetrain and a RockShox Judy air fork. SizeSplit means small frames roll on 27.5" wheels and larger sizes on 29ers, so geometry stays consistent across heights from roughly 150 cm upward. It's a workhorse — not a race bike, not a trail-slayer — bought new by women who want their first proper MTB or a comfortable forest-path companion.
