Origin
The SK Pininfarina debuted around 2014 as De Rosa's most aerodynamic road frame, born from a collaboration with Turin's legendary Pininfarina design house. The partnership fused Milanese frame-building craft with automotive-grade wind tunnel methodology, producing a frameset that competed with the aero flagships of much larger brands.

The verdict
+Strengths
- Exceptional stiffness-to-weight ratio from the multi-modulus carbon layup
- Pininfarina collaboration gives the frame genuine wind-tunnel aero credentials
- Wide groupset compatibility (Campagnolo and Shimano mechanical and electronic)
−Weaknesses
- BB386EVO shell is not universally popular — requires brand-specific bottom brackets
- Tire clearance limited to ~25c, narrow by modern standards
- Succeeded by the lighter 70 — SK Pininfarina is effectively a legacy platform
