Origin

The Moon is Kross's enduro platform — longer travel, slacker geometry, more aggressive intent than the trail-oriented Soil. Introduced in 2012 as the brand pushed into performance segment MTB, it has been ridden by Kross-sponsored enduro racers in Polish and international competitions. The Moon 3.0 attracted international media attention including a Pinkbike review, marking the model's arrival as a credible European enduro alternative.

The verdict

+Strengths
  • Fox Factory suspension provides World Cup-level ride quality
  • SRAM X01 1x12 is the enduro drivetrain standard for reliability under abuse
  • Competitive enduro geometry (65° HA) matches top-tier Western European rivals
Weaknesses
  • 27.5" wheel platform is aging vs the 29"/mullet shift in enduro
  • Heavy frame compared to carbon enduro competitors
  • Kross-specific suspension tune may differ from typical Fox settings — limited aftermarket knowledge
