E300S
Origin
Razor USA built its name in 2000 with the folding aluminium A-model kick scooter that became a global craze, then extended the brand into electric ride-ons. The E300 arrived as Razor's 'big-wheel' electric scooter aimed at teens and lighter adults who found the smaller E100/E200 too cramped: a wide steel deck, 9" pneumatic tyres and a torquey 250W chain drive. The E300S is simply the E300 fitted from the factory with a removable padded seat and seat post, giving buyers a sit-or-stand choice. Both share the same drivetrain, battery and chassis; the 'S' only adds the seat kit. The platform has been sold essentially unchanged for many years (the 2018 catalog reference is one point in a long, stable production run), which is why parts remain easy to find and prices stay low.

The verdict
- Very cheap and robust — big steel deck and 9" pneumatic tyres give a comfortable, stable ride
- Removable padded seat makes it a genuine sit-or-stand scooter, unusual at this price
- Simple, easy-to-service mechanicals with cheap, widely available spare parts
- Heavy sealed lead-acid battery with a painful ~12-hour charge and only ~40 min / 16 km range
- Rear brake only, no suspension, no lights and no folding — not a serious commuter
- Not weather-resistant and slow to accelerate; 15 mph top speed is modest
Generations
E300 (stand-up)
- Base big-wheel model, no seat — lighter and a bit cheaper.
E300S (seated)
- Same drivetrain/chassis as E300, adds a removable padded seat + post; the only real difference is the seat kit and slightly higher weight.
