Mi Electric Scooter Pro 2
Origin
Xiaomi entered the e-scooter market in 2016 with the M365, a scooter that effectively defined the modern shared-and-personal commuter category and became the reference platform for countless rental fleets and clones worldwide. The Pro line pushed range and power upward, and in July 2020 Xiaomi introduced the Mi Electric Scooter Pro 2 alongside the cheaper 1S. The Pro 2 was the maturation of the original M365 formula: the same familiar folding aluminium silhouette, but with a bigger 474Wh battery, a redesigned display, sturdier stem, and better tyres. Manufactured through Xiaomi's ecosystem partner Ninebot/Segment suppliers and sold across Europe from €499, it quickly became one of the continent's default first e-scooters and a fixture of used-scooter listings.

The verdict
- Excellent range-for-money: 474Wh battery delivers a real-world ~30-35 km on a well-treated unit
- Light (14.2 kg) and folds in seconds - genuinely practical for multimodal/last-mile commuting
- Dual redundant brakes (eABS + rear disc) plus 8.5" pneumatic tyres make for a safe, stable, comfortable urban ride
- No suspension - larger potholes and cobbles are felt directly through the deck
- Only 25 km/h and 20% climb - fine for flat cities, sluggish on steep hills or with a heavier rider
- Pneumatic tyres puncture (classic M365-family weakness); slow 8-9 h charge and IP54 means avoid heavy rain
Generations
Mi Electric Scooter Pro (2019)
- The predecessor already had the big 474Wh battery; Pro 2 refined it with a better display, sturdier stem and improved tyres rather than more range.
Mi Electric Scooter Pro 2 (2020)
- Same core drivetrain as the Pro, upgraded dashboard, folding mechanism and puncture-resistant 8.5" tyres. The definitive mass-market version.
