Origin
Wilier's flagship lightweight race bike, launched in 2020 as the Zero SLR — the brand's first disc-only, fully-integrated climbing platform, arriving three years after the rim-brake Zero.6. It was renamed simply '0 SLR' around 2023. Built around HUS-MOD carbon woven with Liquid Crystal Polymer, it skims the UCI 6.8 kg weight limit and is raced by Astana at WorldTour level.

The verdict
+Strengths
- Outstanding climbing performance — stays rigid under hard power surges and steep gradients
- Skims the UCI 6.8 kg minimum weight in top builds, with only a 780 g frame
- Surprisingly smooth, comfortable ride for a stiff race frame thanks to Liquid Crystal Polymer vibration damping
- Flawless disc braking and confident, precise handling — brake late, lean hard into corners
- Clean, fully-integrated cockpit and internal cable routing
−Weaknesses
- Lacks the speed and 'vim and vigour' of dedicated aero bikes on flat roads at ~40 km/h
- Limited cockpit customization — one-piece bar/stem restricted to 90-130 mm stems and 40-43 cm widths
- Electronic shifting only; no mechanical groupset option
- No Campagnolo option — Shimano or SRAM only
- Only 28 mm max tire clearance — narrow by modern endurance/all-road standards
- Premium price (up to ~€11,200) puts it firmly in the high-end-only bracket
